This is a track file meant for use with the "view tracks" feature of the genome browser. It can be loaded directly without modifications. This file is the output of SIGI-HMM, an HMM meant to predict "genomic islands" -- that is, bits of DNA likely to have been horizontally transferred. Once you've loaded it, you should see multiple tracks with general text labels and color coding. The color coding is as follows: dark blue putatively very highly expressed genes light blue putatively highly expressed genes green unsuspicious genes yellow putatively alien genes red putatively alien genes in clusters These colors (and their comments) come from the distribution site for the SIGI-HMM predictions, at: http://www.g2l.bio.uni-goettingen.de/software/sigi/sig.htm This site has prediction files for many organisms.
