Wifi Networking connectivity:
Pathway Tools Workshop networking will be provided by one of the following services:- Network name: ICS Guest Net (Type: WPA2 Personal)
- Network name: ICS Guest Network (Type: WEP)
- Network name: SRIGuest-Secure (Type: WPA2)
Network passwords will be distributed during the workshop sessions.
Laptop Power
Due to power capacity limitations, the conference room can only accomidate a maxium of 30 simultaneously powered laptops. Power outlets will only be available for tables on the left side of the conference room and the the back right side of the room.Presentation Laptop
A presentation laptop will be available for presenters who do not have one available for giving their presentations. It will be preconfigured with wifi access and WebEx, MS Office, Acrobat, and OpenOffice.WebEx for presenters:
- You must use a recent version of Internet Explorer or Firefox to use the web-based WebEx client.
- Point your browser to the following URL:

Fill in your personal information (all optional)
- Display Name: (How you want to be seen on the attendee list)
- Email Addresss:
- Password: (none required)
- Hit the "Join" button
- It will prompt you to either install an ActiveX control or Java applet the very first time. Choose "Accept" or "Allow" the application to load.
- After it finishes loading. you get the WebEx Meeting Manager app.
- After the host (me), promotes you to be a "Presenter", the "Share" tab/menu item will be come activated.
- Under the Share menu, you have the option of:
- Presentation or Document file (uploads into webex)
- Application
- Desktop (Choosing "Desktop" will you the most control of what is shown on the projector screen.)
