Directions to the Pathway Tools Workshop at SRI

SRI International is located at 333 Ravenswood Ave in Menlo Park, between Middlefield Rd and El Camino. 101 exit: Willow Road.

We suggest you try these two hotels first so that most people end up staying at the same hotels: Menlo Park Inn, Red Cottage Inn.

SRI is about 30 minutes south of SFO by car on highway 101. A taxi will cost approximately $85. You can take Super Shuttle from the airport to save money over a taxi cab, but they will probably make a few stops along the way.

You can also take the Caltrain commuter train line. Take BART from SFO or OAK to the Millbrae Caltrain station. Then take Caltrain south to the Menlo Park stop. There is also a free shuttle that takes passengers from SJC to the Santa Clara Caltrain station. Caltrain runs every half hour during business hours on week days, every 1 hour on Saturdays, and every 2 hours on Sundays. Express trains are available during commute hours. Please see the Caltrain website for up-to-date schedules. Read on for walking directions from the CalTrain station to SRI.


Please follow these directions closely. If you encounter a gate at any point, you are going the wrong way. Please find your way back to Ravenswood Avenue and proceed to the main SRI entrance from there.

Please find directions to SRI's International Building lobby below. Once you arrive at the International Building lobby, SRI staff will escort you to the conference room. If nobody is attending please call Wilma at x4904 or Quang at x2408 from the lobby's phone.


Via Caltrain

The Menlo Park Caltrain station is only a few blocks from SRI.

From San Jose
Take a northbound train to the Menlo Park Caltrain station. Walk to Ravenswood Avenue at the southern end of the station. Go left (east) on Ravenswood Avenue. Pass Laurel Street.
Turn right into the second SRI entrance. Bear left onto the parking lot and head along Ravenswood Ave till you reach the steps of the International Building. Enter the lobby of the International Building.


From San Francisco
Take a southbound train to the Menlo Park Caltrain station. Walk to Ravenswood Avenue at the southern end of the station. Go left (east) on Ravenswood Avenue. Pass Laurel Street.
Turn right into the second SRI entrance. Bear left onto the parking lot and head along Ravenswood Ave till you reach the steps of the International Building. Enter the lobby of the International Building.

By Car (directions  and parking instructions)

Please see the following SRI website for directions to the International Building and the Conference Parking. Do note that after parking in the conference parking lot (also referred to as the "church" parking lot), you will walk down Ravenswood Avenue away from Middlefield Road, and turn left into the parking lot next to the main SRI lobby. You will then turn left again to head towards the International Building courtyard. Signs will be provided to help direct people on the days of the Workshop.
